I believe the community that has had the most impact on me is my school community. I've had many inspirational teachers. They have motivated me to improve my life in general and pursue higher education as well. Specifically and more recently my high school community was very impactful. Not only were my peers great influences but many of my greatest teachers came from high school. The four years spent there were also instrumental in developing the person I am today.
Things I don't like about that environment include trouble I had with the school administration and other peers. Also the reputation of the school is something I have a problem with because the local media often has negative coverage of the high school with little to no acknowledgement of the good aspects. In regard to the administration I had to deal the bureaucracy too much for a high school student. I remember when I wanted to change my classes I had to see a few people and fun around to a different offices. My trouble with some peers was that they perpetuated the bad reputation of the school. What ever chance they got they would make negative comments on the school. On the other hand, the school offered many programs and opportunities for the students that looked for them
